Long Beach Deferred Rent Relief Programs – October 12, 2021

Good Afternoon,

Please accept my apologies for not getting this out sooner, but please find attached the October 5th agenda item that passed, which makes the application form for deferred rent much easier.

The second document is an agenda item tonight that accepts more money from the feds for deferred rent programs. Finally, if you are interested I will be setting up a zoom call with Christopher Koontz, Development Services, Assistant Director to go over deferred rent payback applications where the tenant’s median income is higher than the federal requirement of 80% or lower, but the City thinks there may be ways around that requirement thus helping rental property owners out a bit more if they have tenants who’s income was too high.
