Substantial Remodel and Deferred Rent – November 8, 2021

If you are interested below is call-in info for a call today with Christopher Koontz and Patrick Ure with the City of LB regarding deferred rent payback updates. Many of you have been unable to collect deferred rent owed due to your tenant’s income levels higher than the federal requirement of 80% of the area median income. Christopher and his team have offered to see if there are any workarounds or different criteria to assist landlords with getting their tenant’s deferred rent paid. The call is today at 4:30. Second, the Substantial remodel discussion and staff report coming to the City Council on December 7th. This is a very important conversation for landlords, so I would encourage you to watch the discussion and participate if you can attend the council meeting. I will send out the staff report on this agenda item at the end of this month.
